Ivan Weiss is a portrait and headshot photographer based in London. Influenced by Renaissance masterpieces, he creates images that reflect a fascination with classical composition, a delight in the technical possibilities afforded by modern equipment and techniques, and a sensitivity for human emotion.
Working non-destructively in Affinity Photo, Ivan takes you through his complete process for post-processing a portrait image, starting with RAW conversion and making use of live luminosity masks, followed by colour grading and tips for conveying a specific mood, and lastly, retouching.
