Digital Camera Young Photographer of the Year is now open and you can enter your images for free in this prestigious competition.
We’re supporting this year’s contest, and whether your speciality is landscapes and street scenes or posed portraits there are different categories opening throughout the year, with genres to suit all.
The jaw-dropping array of prizes for the winner includes:
- An Apple iPad Pro with Affinity Photo + Apple Pencil
- A Sony RX10 IV camera
- A cash prize of £3,000
Lead judge Claire Gillo says, “We’re looking for young, talented photographers who like to push the boundaries and think outside the box.
“Images that catch our attention not only show great technical skill but also some creative thinking and originality goes along way.
“The Young Photographer of the Year 2018, Josh Hinds, bowled us over with his diverse portfolio and high technical ability.
“We can’t wait to see what the youngsters have to offer this year. Already the standard has been very high and it’s great to see so many young people with a passion for photography. ”
The Young Photographer of the Year Award is open to anyone who will be 25 and under on the 7th February 2019, and you can enter up to four images in each category, when open.
