Each session is completely free and features a talented artist, designer or photographer who uses Affinity. They’ll be sharing pro tips and advice on how to make the most of your apps, as well as providing valuable insights into their respective workflows.

Masks and paths: tips and tricks to improve the lighting in your vector art

In this session, Bronx-born art director, illustrator, and motion designer, Pope Phoenix, explains how he creates the lighting in his vector art using a combination of contrast and textures. He covers basic lighting, masking and file organisation, keeping things light with a few bad jokes in between.
